Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our cleaning tests, and are able to handle various flooring. Find models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an app that allows you to save maps, set schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and alter the S1's behavior.
When I tried the S1 It was quick to map our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However it had some issues traversing the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. For this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank regularly to avoid it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. robot vacuum cleaners best Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating visit the next site lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It also includes a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It comes with a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good with a pair of spinning mop pads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can go from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is beneficial for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than its competitors however, and tends to leave a thick margin around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter suction power, mop setting and view 3-D and 2D maps. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of picking up dirt and debris but it's not always able to reach every last particle of dust. It's important to vacuum often, at least once a week. This is especially important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a less expensive plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to clean your floors, the Q5 offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with its 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't clean up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if required. The app also lets you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of and is a great feature.
